The story of the Republic of Turkey started with the opening of its Grand National Assembly in April 23, 1920. Today, the Grand National Assembly is a 100-years old. Our democratic experience is older- starting officially in 1876 with the First Constitutional Era. But this post is not about any of them.
This post is about kids. One of the best qualities of the Young Republic that still goes on today is the emphasis on the younger generations, their future and education. The founding leader of the then young Republic- Mustafa Kemal Atatürk wrote a school geometry book when he was president. In times of scarcity, the Young Republic educated younger generations to build a confident, dynamic, strong nation. Each parent followed the example of the leadership in putting the upmost investment in education. This emphasis has been immortalized with a bayram- a national holiday/celebration- that we celebrate in the day of the opening of the Grand National Assembly: the Children's Day.
As a firm that reaches investors wanting to come to Turkey, we see our country where children can receive the best possible education in world-class institutions with equal opportunities and create the future. Any investor to come to Turkey must also consider being here as an investment of future. Happy National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
